The Royal Tea party invites all everyone to Downtown New Westminster to participate in the age old tradition of afternoon tea that started in England many years ago. There is no better place for such an event than in New Westminster, which was dubbed “The Royal City” by Queen Victoria as it became the first capital of British Columbia.

The event starts at the police station where participants receive their stamp passports which they bring with them to the various shops in Downtown New Westminster. There they will enjoy a relaxing cup of tea with the businesses owners! Completed passports are eligible for prizes at the end of the event.
