To celebrate the mighty Fraser River, the Hyack Festival Association holds an annual Fraser Fest. This three day event is capped off with a fireworks display over the Westminster Quay Market on Friday night.

On Saturday and Sunday there are numerous display booths throughout the Quay boardwalk as well as activities for kids such as building model boats, slides and mazes. On Saturday night there is yet another fireworks display.
